Introduction

TRUE in excel is a built in logical type function. This function is used to return logical TRUE value. It acts as a worksheet function and can be entered in cell of a worksheet.

Syntax

=TRUE( )

Arguments

There are no arguments for the TRUE.

Keynotes

  • TRUE function does not have any arguments and simply returns the Boolean TRUE value.
  • It is a compatibility function.

Examples

In this example, some numbers are entered in column A and in Column B TRUE is used with IF function to find number greater than 11, if number is greater than 11 OK is returned and if less than 11 than TRUE is returned.
